I have some old Scratchie tickets that have won small prizes. How can I claim these?

The tickets can be submitted at any NSW Lotteries Agency for checking.

Alternatively, you can send the original tickets to NSW Lotteries at PO Box 6687 Silverwater NSW Australia 2128 to recieve payment. Click to download a Prize Claim Form.

Please ensure that you complete your details legibly on the back of each ticket. We suggest you also retain a copy of any information submitted to us.

Will NSW Lotteries alert me personally if I have won a prize?

NSW Lotteries will only contact players registered with the NSW Lotteries Players Club registration service. All correspondence will be in writing. If you receive an email claiming to be from NSW Lotteries about a major prize win it is a scam~ - see the scam lottery item in the General section of the FAQ's. Players Club members are also notified of any minor prizes that have not been claimed when using their membership card at a NSW Lotteries Agent. A Prize Alert message will display prompting you to check your tickets during the 8 week claim period. After this time, your prizes will be posted to your registered address and the Prize Alert message will be removed from your card.

~ From December 2009 NSW Lotteries commenced sending Free Ticket Certificates via email to Players Club members.

If I win a major prize, is it tax-free?

There is no tax payable on any prizes paid by NSW Lotteries.
